Questions about Wag-o-Ween? We've got you covered.

  • When is Wag-o-Ween?
Wag-o-Ween 2002 will take place on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 from 12 pm - 5 pm both days.
  • Where is Wag-o-Ween?
Wag-o-Ween takes place all over Historic Downtown Savannah and in Savannah's Starland District.
  • How does Wag-o-Ween work?
After purchasing your wristband, which you are encouraged to do on the website ahead of time, you can pick it either at Pulaski Square or at Starland Yard on either Saturday or Sunday of the event. With your wristband you'll receive a trick-or-treat bag of goodies and a Wag-o-Ween route map that will guide you finding LOTS of stops where you can pick up even more goodies for you and your puppers.
  • How much is each wristband?
    Wristbands are $12/dog.
  • Can I participate on both days?
Absolutely! As long as you have your wristband you can continue gathering treats on both days! You can hit it all in one day, or do one day downtown and another day in the Starland area. Whatever works for is great. Just have fun!
  • Do I/my pet have to dress up?
Well, you don't have to, but what fun would that be?
  • I'm going to do WoW with my family and our 1 dog, how many wristbands do I need?
Only one wristband is required per dog, regardless of how many humans they are accompanying. But, don't forget, that all of the money raised goes back to the Savannah rescue community. So while you may only need one, feel free to purchase more, or simply make a donation!
  • Who Can Participate in the Weiner Races?
This race is open to all breeds but will be broken into Wiener dogs/mixes and non-wieners. 6 dogs will race at a time and the fastest of those runs will be invited back at 4pm for the daily finalist races! Sign up for your time slot on-site at Pulaski Square.
