It takes a lot of work to make Wag-O-Ween the amazing community event that it is. And, in order to pull it off we need lots of amazing volunteers. We have volunteer opportunities through-out the year and opportunities with varying amounts of commitment, so pick what works for you!

Marketing & Social Media

Help us get the word out to the community about this pawesome event! We need help with social media posts and general marketing.

Sponsorships

We need your help to secure sponsors for Wag-O-Ween. To keep this an affordable event for the community, Wag-O-Ween relies on sponsorships. Maybe you have friends or family with local businesses who you can ask, or we can provide you with a list of past sponsors to call.

Bag Stuffing

In order for Registration and Pre-Order pickups to run smoothly, we need to have 2000 bags stuffed and ready to go. As you might suspect, that takes a lot of hands. We'll work in shifts and have an "assembly line" set up with all of the promotional materials from our sponsors that need to go in the goody bags. It's actually a lot of fun!

Treat Stops

What's Wag-O-Ween without Treat Stops? We need people to help us go door-to-door to businesses in the Downtown and Starland districts to help sign up Treat Stop locations.

We need people for a couple of hours throughout the spring and summer.

Week of Event Runners

Oct 19 - 24, 2025

There is a lot to do in the week leading up to Wag-O-Ween weekend. From delivering Treat Stop signs, setting up and manning stations at the kickoff events to delivering event goody bags and t-shirts to our sponsors.

Pre-Order Pickups

Oct 19 - 24, 2025

Help us hand out t-shirts and goody bags to participants who have pre-ordered. We have several pre-order pickup events happening the week leading up to Wag-O-Ween Weekend in both Savannah and Pooler.

Event-Day Volunteers

Sat, Oct 25 & Sun, Oct 26, 2025

We are going to need lots of help on both Saturday and Sunday of Wag-O-Ween weekend. We will have a sign-up sheet posted here closer to the event where you can sign up for half-day slots to help with tasks such as:

Registration Table
T-shirt & Raffle Ticket sales
Runners to help move items from Downtown to Starland and between the squares
And more
